Brassica rapa subsp. chinensis
Pak choi is a fast-growing annual brassica grown for its upright rosette of juicy stems and tender leaves. Sown outdoors from midsummer to early autumn to prevent premature flowering, it occupies the ground for six to eight weeks and does not return after harvest.
