Rubus idaeus
Autumn-fruiting raspberries are deciduous perennial cane shrubs grown for their late-season berries. Canes are planted bare-root in winter and occupy a permanent bed for ten or more years, with all growth pruned to the ground each February before fruiting from late August until the first hard frost.
