Tetragonia tetragonioides
New Zealand spinach is a tender perennial grown as an annual leafy green, harvested for its succulent leaves and young shoots. Sown indoors in spring or outside after the last frosts in late May, it occupies the ground through summer until autumn frosts kill it.
