Melissa officinalis
Lemon balm is a hardy herbaceous perennial grown for its aromatic leaves and young stem tips. Plants go in during spring from seeds, root divisions, or container-grown stock, occupying their ground indefinitely and dying back each winter before regrowing vigorously every spring.
