Trifolium incarnatum
Crimson clover is a fast-growing annual legume from which you harvest the nectar-rich flower heads and tender young leaves. Broadcast directly from March to August as a summer catch crop or in late summer to overwinter in mild areas, it occupies the ground for two to three months before being incorporated, and does not return.
